Our Team

Darren is the Founder of Roecam and has served of as it's Chief Investment Officer (CIO) since it’s inception in 2021. With over eighteen years of experience in the investment real estate industry, Darren has built a robust career that spans asset management, private equity, real estate operations, acquisitions, dispositions, and corporate real estate. His expertise lies in identifying, evaluating, and executing real estate investments and strategies that deliver value across diverse portfolios. His career has afforded him the opportunity to work on real estate investment projects in all major asset types (multifamily, industrial, retail and office).

In addition to Roecam, Darren is the Founder and President of The Mountaintop Group, a real estate and business advisory firm that has been operational since 2011. The Mountaintop Group provides a wide array of consulting services, including transaction advisory, capital markets, and third-party acquisitions. 

His most recent roles include VP of Leasing for B&D Holdings and Director of Business Development for Real Estate Services at EisnerAmper, one of the nation’s largest financial services firms. Earlier roles include Real Estate Manager at Aero Opco LLC, where he managed pro forma models and analytics for Aeropostale and Nautica brands, and Director of Acquisitions and Leasing Manager at Benbrooke Realty Investment Company. Darren began his career at Marcus and Millichap, where he facilitated commercial property acquisitions and built a vast network of over 3,500 institutional and private investors. 

Darren holds a Master of Accounting with a concentration in Business Valuation from Florida Atlantic University, an MBA in Real Estate from Monmouth University, and a Bachelors from Villanova University. He is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey and an active member of several industry organizations, including the Council of Urban Real Estate (CURE) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). His deep-rooted experience and diverse skill set make him an invaluable leader in the real estate investment sector.
